The Lower Clarence Music Eisteddfod

The Lower Clarence Music Eisteddfod is an annual event held each year in Maclean at the Maclean Civic Centre, and Mareeba has been sponsoring the Mareeba Aged Care Junior Instrumental Championship since 2011.

Pictured are the junior winners from the 2015 event:

1st place – Aydin Neighbour from near Lismore was a real eye opener, playing piano and clarinet.
2nd place – Lauren Illig played the violin beautifully
3rd place – Lilian Taylor.

Mareeba proudly supports the Maclean Campdraft Association’s annual competitions, the uniquely Australian sporting event involving horse and rider working cattle.

Maclean and District Pipe Band

Mareeba Aged Care proudly supports the Maclean and District Pipe Band. The pipe band has won numerous championships over the years and performs at prominent community and regional events.
