Assistant in Nursing:

Key Responsibilities:

About You

As an Assistant in Nursing, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. You will also be involved in engaging in meaningful social interactions to promote emotional well-being. Ideally you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants)
  • Experience in aged care or a genuine passion for working with the elderly
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to providing care
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Understanding of and commitment to maintaining residents' rights and privacy
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Current National Police and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to obtain

Registered & Enrolled Nurses: 
We are looking for part-time Registered & Enrolled Nurses to work morning or afternoon shifts. This opportunity requires flexibility within your shifts and your focus will be recognising resident needs and assisting them with services that enrich their daily living. In order to ensure that residents' individual care plan requirements are met, you will also provide comprehensive guidance to nursing and care staff.  The care you provide will have a lasting positive impact on our residents and their families. 

Within your varied day, you will:

  • Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings of individual client needs, ensuring that care strategies are based on evidence.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with client, their representatives and other members of the care team.
  • Maintain client documentation in accordance with electronic documentation and organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers in the provision of services.

You are a dedicated clinician who can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices.  Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Some residential aged care experience.

  • High level of professional written and verbal communication.
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Administration Assistant:
The Administration Assistant works closely with the Executive Manager and Clinical Care Manager to support the daily operations of the facility. These activities can include customer relations, reception, rostering, purchasing and records management. Previous experience within the care sector is desirable, however we are willing to consider applicants from all backgrounds with a broad skill set. 

  • Permanent Part-time , 3 days a week, Mon. Tues, Wed 8.30am - 4.30pm, Every 2nd Sun 8.00am - 1.00pm
  • First point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to the facility.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to residents.
  • Processing of invoices, purchase orders, including ordering and taking stock of office supplies.
  • Acting as a point of contact for visitor and resident enquiries and referring these to the Manager or relevant teams as appropriate.
  • General administration, such as filing, processing and directing mail, banking, data entry, word processing, minute taking, and photocopying.
  • Maintaining and ensuring the security and confidentiality of office files and records.
  • Input and maintenance of records.

About You

  • Must have previous experience in an administration or reception role.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of office applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to the elderly.
  • Must have current driver's licence.
  • Current National Police and NDIS Screening Check, or ability to obtain.

Experienced Aged Care Cook: 

Saturday & Sunday 9.00am – 5.30pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Aged Care Cook to join our team.

You will be working alongside a team of kitchenhands to ensure our residents receive the highest quality in dining experience.

Your well-honed culinary, communication and problem-solving skills are demonstrated when creating menus that maximise nutritional value, without compromising on taste.

About You

Before you can be considered for this role, we’ll need make sure you possess the following:

  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working in aged care sector as a Cook
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Experience in producing modified textured food
  • Ordering stock/supplies as required
  • Monitor and reduce waste
  • Cleaning and hygiene upkeep
  • Weekly record keeping (re: temperatures, food labelling, etc)
  • Current National Police and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to obtain
