Mareeba has had another award win at this year's Clarence Valley Business Awards, taking home the trophy for the Social Enterprise Award.
The questions that we had to ask were about:
'How does the business meet its Social/Community benefit goals? Please provide examples:'
Our response was:
'To encourage Residents to stay part of the community (ie our Intergenerational Program, social outings and continued community involvement), our Chaplain and associated Support Groups, being a LGBTI Safe Place, staff training programs and sponsorship of local community groups.'
We are very proud of our facility and would like to extend a big congratulations to our hard working team who make it all possible.
