Volunteers End of Year Christmas Party

Posted 10 Dec '16

Words can not adequately describe the absolute gratitude we at Mareeba have towards our magnificent volunteers who give up numerous hours each year to spend time with our residents in so many ways.

Whether its entertaining, helping on community outings, playing bingo, running craft sessions or simply spending valuable personal time with residents the input our wonderful volunteers have in making residents lives so much more enjoyable is immeasurable.

In a token of our appreciation Mareeba recently held a special thank you luncheon for our volunteers at the Maclean Hotel, better known as the "Top Pub", in their honour.

Its was truly lovely to see so many of the volunteers participating in this luncheon & as can be seen in the accompanying photos an enjoyable time was most definitely had by all those in attendance.

So from everyone here at Mareeba we once again express our most sincere thank you & gratitude to each and every one of our most sensational volunteers from the bottom of our hearts & hope that you all enjoyed your time at Mareeba during 2016 as much as we thoroughly enjoyed having you as part of the "Mareeba Family".
